Alexandre Racine - Directeur

Alexandre Racine

Throughout his career, Alexandre has held several key roles in the industrial coatings industry, progressing from painter to inspector, and then to quality director. After 14 years at GATX and a stint at Drytec Trans-Canada, he joined Peintres BSR in August 2022 as Director of Quality, Training, and Procedures.

Known for his generosity and integrity, Alexandre enjoys sharing his knowledge, which led him to become an AMPP (NACE) instructor. As the first bilingual French-speaking instructor in the world for AMPP, he particularly values the enriching exchanges that this role provides.

Gilles Masse

    With over 40 years of experience in the protective and marine coatings industry, Gilles Masse has held various positions, ranging from customer service manager to sales and technical support director. He is currently the Training Director for North America at PPG’s Protective and Marine Coatings division.

    Since 2023, Gilles has been certified to teach the AMPP Coatings Inspector Level 1 and 2 programs in both English and French. His technical expertise and commitment to training make him a valuable asset to CFRIQC.

    Alexandre Tissier

    With over 30 years of experience, Alexandre Tissier is a quality control expert specializing in corrosion, non-destructive (NDT) and destructive testing, as well as complex structure inspection. He has supervised major projects, including the oversight of bridge and viaduct painting work, using processes such as electrostatic application, galvanization, metallization, and liquid paint spraying.

    His expertise has also led him to conduct international quality audits in countries such as Israel, Turkey, Spain, and the United States for the fabrication of the new Champlain Bridge. Today, he focuses on sharing his knowledge, convinced that knowledge transfer is essential to the advancement of the industry.

    Yves Deschenes

    With experience in the industrial coatings field since 1998, Yves Deschesnes has specialized in fireproofing, corrosion control design, bridge inspection, powder coating, concrete coatings, and metallization.

    Becoming an AMPP instructor is one of his greatest achievements, allowing him to give back to the industry that has provided him with a fulfilling career. Yves is driven by the desire to share his knowledge, including both positive experiences and challenges encountered, while also learning from those he trains.

    Originally from Sainte-Marie de Beauce, Régis Ferland has been working in the industrial and marine coatings sector for nearly 15 years, primarily in the Québec and Chaudière-Appalaches regions. His expertise is also backed by 25 years of experience in quality assurance within the manufacturing sector.

    Known for his curious and proactive mindset, Régis is a passionate professional who believes in continuous learning. He is committed to sharing his knowledge and experience to help his students excel in their field.
